Green jumping spider
The green jumping spider is a bright green spider from Australia that jumps instead of spinning a web to catch food. The male has long white side whiskers and a little black tuft of hair on top, like a funny hairstyle. The female wears a red and white mask instead.

The males do a fancy dance to impress a female.
A male sometimes waits in a nest next door to a young female until she is grown up.
It is the only species in its group, called Mopsus.
