Orchard spider
The orchard spider is one of the prettiest spiders around. It has leaf green legs and sides, a silvery back with dark streaks, and often bright yellow, orange or red spots near its back end. It hangs upside down in the middle of its flat, round web.

How fast is it?
Fun facts
Its web usually lies flat like a table top, not standing up like most round webs.
Its colours can change from spider to spider. Some have dark green or even orange legs, and some have no bright spots at all.
A tiny wasp larva sometimes rides on its back, right where the two body parts meet, and feeds on it.
