Candy-stripe spider
The candy-stripe spider is a tiny spider with a round belly that can look like a sweet. Some have a white or cream belly, some have one red stripe, and some have two red stripes. It may be small, but it is a brave hunter.

Its legs are see-through, a bit like glass.
There are three colour types. The type with an all-red back is the rarest one.
It hides under a leaf and pulls the edges of the leaf down with its silk to make a little tent.
The mother wraps her eggs in a white bag inside a rolled-up leaf and guards them until the babies hatch. She even brings food to her spiderlings.
The egg bag starts white and turns blue-grey after a few days.
