Citrus longhorn beetle
The citrus longhorn beetle is a beetle with very long feelers that comes from East Asia. Its babies live inside trees and tunnel through the wood. It is a big worry for gardeners and fruit growers, because it can kill whole trees.

How fast is it?
Fun facts
It sneaks into other countries by hiding inside plants and wood that are shipped across the world.
In the United States, it was found hiding in little bonsai trees sent from Asia.
People in one town were asked not to move firewood around, so the beetle could not spread.
As the larva grows, it moves deeper into the tree, where the wood is a bit warmer.
